you hear a faint tapping noise in the distance. as you approach, you see a construction crew hard at work. something draws you to them, but you’re not sure exactly what it is. something about their mystical aura pulls you in. you attempt a subtle glance and oh! are those goblins? indeed, they are. despite your now rather obvious shock, they disregard you as they keep working.
please do not bother the goblins at work, they will be done soon. be patient.
one of the goblins notices you staring. she offers you a cup of chamomile tea in of the finest teacups you have ever seen, with daisies and tulips and mushrooms hand painted in a deep, rich blue shade. you look closer and see two goblin children in regency dress seated at a small table, clearly having a pretend tea party with their teddy bears. you sigh at peace as you try to remember the last time you had a tea party with your teddy bears. the lovely woman notices this and says, "have some tea, dear. wear your finest fashions, and have your tea party with your loved ones, even if they are only tiny plush bears."
you smile lovingly as you take tea. what a precious moment you will cherish forever. as you turn to leave, she stops you to give you a recipe. she tells you, "my dear, you cannot have a tea party without serving any cookies!" she tells you her name, Arrietty, and insists you must come back for more recipes some time. you smile and say you will.
